Il faut savoir aujourd’hui que près de 50 % des femmes issues de la diversité ou réfugiées sont exclues du marché de l’emploi en France. Parfois à cause des barrières de la langue ou un manque de confiance ou de moyen, pour certaines d’entre elles, il est très dur de s’intégrer et de devenir autonome dans un secteur aussi féroce que la cuisine.
C’est pour cela que Loubna Ksibi, Donia Souad Amamraet et Youssef Oudahman ont développé cette start-up au modèle bien défini et mettent en place aujourd’hui une levée de fond pour récolter 300 000 euros sur la plateforme LITA.com.
Quel est le concept de cette start-up sociale ?
C’est tout simplement une entreprise sociale créée pour permettre à des femmes passionnée par la cuisine de devenir « Mama ». Pour répondre à cette fameuse mission, Meet My Mama a développé son concept entre un service traiteur du monde et une association qui permet aux femmes réfugiées ou issues de l’immigration de bénéficier d’un parcours d’insertion pouvant valoriser leurs talents et leur passion dans la cuisine.
L’objectif principal est de rendre les femmes « Mama » 100 % indépendante et de contribuer à leur émancipation financière. Meet My Mama les forme donc au métier de cheffe traiteur entrepreneur et les aide à développer leur réseau et leur portefeuille client.
La start-up social compte apparue depuis 2017 compte plus de 2000 clients comme BNP, Google ou même LVMH et a généré un chiffre d’affaire de 1,19 millions d’euros en 2019.
La start-up sociale aujourd’hui, veut se développer et se renforcer d’avantage, c’est pour cela qu’elle met en place une levée de fond supplémentaire et décide de se financer directement auprès d’institutionnels et de particuliers en passant pour la plateforme LITA.com.
L’objectif est de renforcer ses équipes pour élargir son réseau de Mama, investir en ressource matérielle et en outils technologiques et enfin, s’élargir en opérant l’ouverture dans d’autres villes en France ainsi qu’à l’international.
Aujourd’hui Meet My Mama c’est un service traiteur alimenté par les Mama, mais également un service d’atelier et animations permettant de découvrir les différentes cultures des Mama et de déguster des plats aux saveurs des quatre coins du monde et enfin la start-up propose un service de prestation sur-mesure.
Pour résumer, Meet My Mama c’est le voyage, la découverte de nouveaux horizons, de nouveaux talents culinaire à travers ces femmes pleines d’ambitions.
Meet My Mama prône le parcours dit « d’Empowerment » :
– Inspirer : en passant par des rencontres inspirantes pour déconstruire les stéréotypes et encourager à prendre confiance en elles
– Former : à travers des formations professionnelles en cuisine et en entreprenariat sur des compétences spécifiques
– Soutenir : faire partie d’un réseau fort souhaitant trouver des solutions aux problèmes food actuels et bien évidemment décrocher des opportunités
– Accompagner : avec la mise à disposition d’outils et d’assistances dans plusieurs domaines comme juridique, sociale, ou administrative
Ainsi, il faut dire que Meet My Mama c’est LA start-up de l’ère actuelle qui prône et applique des valeurs fortes et contribue fortement à l’insertion et à l’intégration d’une partie de la population française lésée par la société d’aujourd’hui, et on valide !
