Résolu à ne pas sombrer dans l’atmosphère pesante du contexte actuel, le Louvre propose une alternative inédite pour profiter des richesses de son musée : ouvrir sa propre boutique en ligne. Au rendez-vous des jeux, des accessoires, de la décoration mais surtout une collection capsule mode et artistique entre UNIQLO et le Musée du Louvre.
UNIQLO : un partenariat de quatre ans avec le Musée du Louvre
Rendre l’art accessible est une des ambitions de l’enseigne de mode du groupe Fast Retailing, UNIQLO. Cette volonté résonne d’autant plus à l’heure où les portes des musées sont fermées. Après plusieurs collections capsules saluées (notamment avec Keith Haring), c’est avec le musée du Louvre que l’enseigne Japonaise a choisi de s’associer en signant un partenariat de quatre ans.

La collection se décompose en deux volets distincts :
BLOSSOMS OF DIVERSITY : En mettant en avant la diversité des portraits féminins disponibles dans la collection d’art du musée du Louvre, UNIQLO propose une réelle ode à la féminité. Les designs seront réinterprétés afin de proposer des vêtements alliant modernité et œuvres classiques. On retrouve ainsi une Mona Lisa accompagnée de motifs floraux ou une Venus de Milo stylisée.
ART AND LOGIC BY PETER SAVILLE : Inspiré par le système des numéros d’inventaire utilisé par le Louvre pour répertorier les œuvres d’art, Peter Saville sublime et réinterprète les chefs-d’œuvre du musée du Louvre sous le thème « Art et Logique ».
Disponible depuis le 4 février 2021 dans les magasins UNIQLO et sur la nouvelle boutique en ligne du Louvre, cette collection sera étoffée régulièrement avec de nouvelles références jusqu’en 2024.
