Dans un contexte économique tourné vers l’inflation dans plusieurs secteurs d’activité (alimentaire, énergie, textile…), le coût de la vie ne cesse d’augmenter. Face à cette flambée des prix, le pouvoir d’achat est la première préoccupation des français. Ce qui nous amène à nous demander : Comment gérer ses dépenses au quotidien ? Quelles sont les astuces pour optimiser son budget et dépenser malin ?

#1 Évaluer vos dépenses avec la méthode 50/30/20
Si vous avez du mal à gérer votre budget, la méthode 50/30/20 va vous permettre de mieux répartir vos dépenses. Elle a été introduite par Elizabeth Warren dans son livre All Your Worth : The Ultimate Lifetime Money Plan.
Le principe de cette méthode 50/30/20 est de vous aider à équilibrer vos dépenses. Vous allez devoir catégoriser toutes vos dépenses. Par exemple, si votre revenu est de 2000€, vous allez catégoriser la totalité de la somme selon les pourcentages suivants : 50% pour les besoins essentiels du quotidien (alimentation, transports, loyer, assurances, remboursement de crédit…), 30% pour les dépenses plaisir dites flexibles qui ne sont pas essentielles (loisirs, shopping, sortie au resto, vacances), 20% pour l’épargne (fond d’urgence, préparation de votre retraite ou d’un projet immobilier).
Cette astuce doit s’adapter aux revenus et aux besoins de chacun. La méthode aide à la répartition des dépenses pour équilibrer les dépenses nécessaires et les dépenses plaisir.
Cette méthode va vous permettre également de renégocier vos contrats (forfait mobile, contrat énergie, assurance logement..) et comparer les offres concurrentes. En faisant cela, vous allez pouvoir économiser un peu et ainsi réduire vos dépenses essentielles.
Ce système est à effectuer aussi sur les dépenses plaisir. Par exemple : un abonnement à la salle de sport si vous y allez seulement 1 fois par trimestre, il est préférable de résilier l’abonnement. Faites le point sur ces dépenses inutiles et consacrez les soit à votre épargne soit à d’autres dépenses plaisir.
Fun fact : en moyenne, un Français a 5.4 abonnements !
De plus, adopter un mode de vie zéro-déchet au quotidien peut vous aider à mieux dépenser. Par exemple, la prévision des achats peut vous aider à limiter le gaspillage et donc vous permettre de contribuer à protéger l’environnement.
Une astuce complémentaire pour mener à bien la méthode 50/30/20 est la technique des enveloppes : c’est à dire que vous allez placer la part dédiée à chaque catégorie dans des enveloppes avec de l’argent liquide pour les dépenses plaisir et les dépenses essentielles (celles qui ne sont pas réglées par prélèvement). Cette astuce permet de mieux se rendre compte de ce que l’on paie en utilisant de l’argent liquide plutôt qu’en payant avec sa carte bancaire et d’ainsi fixer des limites.
#2 Utiliser des applications de gestion de budget
Dans la continuité de la méthode 50/30/20, l’utilisation d’une application de gestion de budget peut vous aider à surveiller les dépenses dans l’objectif de consommer intelligemment et sans se priver.
En effet, il existe des applications mobiles sécurisées. La plupart des banques proposent ainsi leurs applications mobiles, permettant de visionner l’ensemble de vos dépenses, de vos revenus et vous assurer que vous n’êtes pas dans le rouge.
