Le Real Madrid ainsi que le PSG ont diffusé des contenus sur leur chaîne, puis ont été suivi par le PSG et la Juventus. L’Olympique de Marseille avait même diffusé en direct deux de ses matchs amicaux. Le premier match avait réussi à réunir 300.000 spectateurs.
Mais le foot n’est pas le seul sport représenté sur la plateforme. On retrouve aussi des chaînes de NBA, Formule 1, NFL entre autres.
Attirer le jeune public, un enjeu de taille
L’un des points forts de Twitch est que tout le monde peut regarder du contenu diffusé en direct. Entre le visionnage gratuit en ligne et le coût (de plus en plus élevé) des abonnements aux chaînes et groupes de télévision diffusant le sport, les moins de 30 ans commencent à délaisser les médias traditionnels.

Événement organisé par Squeezie, cette course automobile entre streamers français a regroupé plus de 40 000 spectateurs sur place. Elle a également été diffusée en direct sur la chaîne du streamer et suivie par 1 million de téléspectateurs.

Le samedi 19 Novembre, le twitch français connaît un nouveau record en atteignant 1,1 million de viewers. Diffusé sur la chaîne de Aminematue, le match de foot Eleven All Stars entre streamers français et espagnols a regroupé plus de 20 000 personnes au stade Jean-Bouin. Résultat : une victoire pour les français avec un score de 2 – 0. Cet événement pensé par Aminematue et Dj Mariio n’est que le début. En effet, Amine a annoncé dans l’un de ses lives qu’un match retour est prévu prochainement. La date reste cependant inconnue.
