La crise du COVID-19 s’atténuant, les différents événements peuvent reprendre. Et ça Snapchat et TicketMaster l’ont bien compris ! Les deux groupes l’ont annoncé ce mois de février : une collaboration entre Snapchat et TicketMaster voit le jour dans le but de faire découvrir des événements.

SNAPCHAT est un réseau social qui permet d’envoyer et de partager en story des photos et vidéos, de « chatter » avec ses proches. Mais ça ne s’arrête pas là, il est également possible de localiser ses amis utilisateurs de l’application via la « Map Snap », de faire des jeux avec ses amis, de suivre des personnes publiques influentes, d’utiliser des filtres, d’avoir accès à certaines actualités, ou encore même d’avoir des informations sur les plantes qui vous entourent etc… Toutes ces services font de Snapchat un des réseaux préférés des jeunes.

TicketMaster
Peut-être moins connu que SNAPCHAT (et encore), TICKETMASTER est une célèbre plateforme américaine qui met en vente des billets pour différents événements (spectacles, concerts, festivals…). Elle est disponible dans plusieurs pays.
Lorsqu’un artiste organise un événement, il peut décider de passer par TICKETMASTER. Par la suite, l’utilisateur intéressé qui achètera sa place, recevra par e-mail son ticket (imprimable ou e-ticket). Comme tout ticket, il est ensuite scanné à l’entrée de l’événement.
La plateforme a également développé un système de préventes qui permet aux clients d’avoir accès en avant-première à la billetterie de nombreux événements.

- Plus de 500 millions de billets vendus par an
- Un des 5 principaux acteurs mondiaux dans le e-commerce
POURQUOI SNAPCHAT ET TICKETMASTER S’ASSOCIENT ?
Ces deux grands groupes ont donc décidé de s’associer dans le but de faire découvrir facilement et différemment les événements à proximité, grâce à un questionnaire et à la « Map Snap ». Suite à la crise du COVID-19, le nombre d’événements a fortement diminué.
Aujourd’hui, la situation a évolué et les événements reprennent du plus belle : une bonne occasion de rendre tous les événements accessibles à tout public !
Ce partenariat qui va relier le offline et le online proposera donc une nouvelle expérience innovante aux utilisateurs de Snapchat.
Cette offre est dorénavant disponible dans 20 pays différents.
LE FONCTIONNEMENT DE L’ASSOCIATION SNAPCHAT ET TICKETMASTER
C’est tout simple ! Il suffit simplement aux utilisateurs de Snapchat d’appuyer sur l’icône de la fusée dans un chat. Ensuite, dans la partie « Minis » (pour mini application), se trouvera l’application TicketMaster. Pour la suite, les intéressés devront répondre à un petit questionnaire afin de connaître leurs préférences, leurs goûts, ainsi que leurs envies. L’application se chargera ensuite de proposer des événements qui seront susceptibles de correspondre aux adhérents grâce à leurs réponses.
Les utilisateurs de Snapchat pourront ensuite « swiper » (balayer de façon latérale l’écran avec son doigt) sur la gauche, ou sur la droite, les événements proposés.
Le principe de l’application Snapchat étant toujours d’être un réseau social, les Snapchatters pourront également lancer des discussions, publier en story ou encore créer des groupes afin d’informer leurs amis de l’événement.
Il est également possible de retrouver un « Layer » sur la map Snapchat. A l’aide de ce dernier, les utilisateurs pourront découvrir les événements à proximité et s’ils ont des amis qui y participent. Il est à note que cette fonction Snapchat est très utile puisqu’elle est touche pas moins de 250 millions de personnes chaque mois !
Une fois l’événement choisi, le paiement est assuré et sans risque. En effet, les Snapchatters sont automatiquement redirigés sur la plateforme de paiement sécurisée de TicketMaster.
