Plus précisément, pour adopter une consommation responsable, vous devez répondre à un ou plusieurs de ces critères :
- Critère écologique: consommer des produits respectueux de l’environnement ou écologiques. Il peut s’agir de produits issus de filières certifiées respectant l’environnement ou la biodiversité, des produits avec un bilan carbone faible, des produits biologiques, de saison ou encore des produits qui évitent la pollution, la déforestation et l’épuisement des ressources naturelles.
- Critère social: consommer des produits respectueux des droits de l’Homme, des normes sociales. Par exemple, on peut lutter contre les produits favorisant le travail des enfants, le licenciement abusif, le non-respect des horaires. On peut favoriser les entreprises RSE, le commerce équitable, etc.
- Critère santé: consommer des produits respectant les normes sanitaires comme, des produits ayant une composition nutritionnelle saine, des produits sans pesticides, ou encore des produits fabriqués en respectant les normes d’hygiène.
- Critère économique: consommer des produits avec un impact économique positif comme les produits locaux, le Made in France, les produits d’AMAP, ceux qui encouragent l’autonomie économique de producteurs, des produits créant de l’emploi et favorisant la qualité de vie au travail.
- Critère éthique et morale: consommer des produits respectant par exemple le bien-être animal ou le respect de l’équité.
Mais consommer responsable c’est aussi montrer l’exemple à son entourage en encourageant les bonnes pratiques de consommation et dénonçant les mauvaises. On peut aussi boycotter certains produits, soutenir les campagnes de sensibilisation, signer des pétitions, utiliser des alternatives au marché comme l’économie collaborative… Vous l’aurez compris, être un consommateur responsable ne s’arrête pas à sa propre consommation mais en étant acteur de la consommation de la société.
Vous trouvez cependant que respecter ces différents critères de consommation est difficile au quotidien, alors voici quelques astuces pour vous faciliter la vie.
