Qu’est-ce qu’une maison connectée ?
C’est l’ensemble de tout ce qui peut être commandé à distance dans son habitat et c’est la possibilité de programmer certaines tâches spécifiques de la maison à l’avance.
Elle permet donc d’assurer plus de sécurité, d’améliorer son confort mais surtout de réaliser des économies notamment énergétiques.
Le marché des maisons connectées évolue fortement en France. Les grands précurseurs ont été Google et Amazon avec leur assistant vocal respectivement nommé Google Home et Alexa. Mais il est vrai que le contour de ce marché est très vague. On imagine des maisons 100% connectées où tout est programmé et pilotable à la voix, cependant il est considéré être dans une maison connectée avec une simple ampoule wifi qui vaut une dizaine d’euros !
L’environnement de la maison connectée est régi par les besoins des consommateurs qui vont eux-mêmes décider de leurs besoins selon leurs envies de se sentir plus en sécurité, d’automatiser leur habitat ou encore de réduire les frais énergétiques.
Comment cela fonctionne ?
Il y a 3 catégories principales d’objet (ou installations domotiques) pour les maisons connectées :
- Les hubs : ils permettent de centraliser les informations et de tout gérer.
- Les capteurs : ils détectent les mouvements, les vibrations ou encore l’humidité.
- Les télécommandes : elles permettent de réaliser les contrôles à distance.
Pour le fonctionnement, le principe est simple il suffit de parler aux objets connectés afin de leur dire comment se comporter en fonction du rythme de vie voulu.
Par exemple, lors du réveil il est possible de programmer tout un scénario : avec le chauffage qui s’enclenche sur le mode confort, les volets qui s’ouvrent tout seul…et tout s’éteint automatiquement lorsqu’il n’y a plus personne dans l’habitat.
La maison connectée offre de nombreuses opportunités et d’économies d’énergie car il est possible d’anticiper la consommation et surtout de réparer les oublis (comme éteindre des lumières ou le chauffage à distance). Cela permet de respecter ses besoins énergétiques au plus près et au plus juste et donc éviter le gaspillage et de respecter la Planète.
En quoi cela est économique et écologique ?
La grande majorité du gaspillage énergétique est involontaire, que ce soit l’oubli d’éteindre les lumières ou de laisser le robinet ouvert pendant le brossage de dents. On peut aussi parler du fait de réfléchir la porte ouverte de son frigo ou d’ouvrir toutes les deux minutes le four pour voir si son plat est cuit… Tout cela peut avoir un réel impact sur la facture d’énergie. On peut aussi parler des appareils en veille qui peuvent représenter jusqu’à 11% de la consommation électrique d’un foyer.
C’est pourquoi d’avoir une maison qui se gère elle-même peut faire la différence. Par ailleurs, on observe en moyenne une baisse de la facture énergétique de 10% grâce aux installations de domotiques.
Par où commencer si on veut se lancer ?
Voici une liste de 4 objets connectés, utiles et éco-responsables :
- L’enceinte connectée : Elle permettra de contrôler par la voix toutes les installations reliées à la maison connectée.
- La prise connectée : C’est une prise classique avec un boitier grâce auquel on peut la connectée avec Internet. Lorsqu’un appareil électrique est branché à cette prise il sera possible de l’allumer ou de l’éteindre à distance.
- Le thermostat connecté : Cet objet permet de maintenir la température voulue selon les pièces et il se coupe automatiquement lorsque la température est atteinte. Il permet aussi de calculer les consommations énergétiques et donc d’anticiper les dépenses.
- L’ampoule connectée : Elle est idéale pour programmer des horaires d’allumage et pour varier l’intensité de l’éclairage selon les pièces et les ambiances voulues.
On peut aussi parler des lave-linges connectés qui vont pouvoir détecter automatiquement la quantité de lessive nécessaire et les modes à utiliser selon le poids du linge et les tissus détectés.
En plus de la domotique, l’idéal pour faire des économies d’énergie et de coupler ces installations avec la rénovation énergétique.
Avec les nouvelles technologies, il est possible de faire de l’éco rénovation, comme l’isolation des combles, changement des fenêtres, installation d’une pompe à chaleur… Ces travaux ont pour but d’améliorer la performance énergétique de son habitat et par conséquent faire du bien sur le long terme à votre portefeuille et surtout la Planète. Cependant, il est vrai que ce type de travaux représente un certain investissement.
En conclusion
La maison connectée a de l’avenir que ce soit pour une question de praticité, de préservation des ressources et d’économie. Dans le futur, les maisons connectées seront beaucoup plus abouties et développées. On pourra par exemple voir l’intérieur de nos frigos grâce à un écran tactile sans avoir à l’ouvrir.
