Depuis deux ans, la Covid-19 est omniprésente dans la vie de la population et entraine de lourdes conséquences psychologiques chez les personnes. Les liens sociaux s’affaiblissent, les personnes s’isolent de plus en plus, et cela entraine chez certains des pathologies comme l’anxiété, les TOC, la peur, ou encore l’angoisse. Nous ne sommes pas égaux mentalement, c’est pour cela que notre environnement joue un rôle important.
Rappelons-nous, les seules sorties autorisées pendant l’année 2020 étaient réglementées par des autorisations de sortie. Il fallait éviter de croiser d’autres personnes et une psychose commune est apparue. Cependant, un des lieux auquel tout le monde devait se rendre : ce sont les supermarchés. La nécessité de faire les courses maintenait le peu d’activité des personnes. Beaucoup s’y rendent afin de rencontrer du monde, voir des visages, avoir des interactions. Depuis le premier confinement en mars 2020, et jusqu’à aujourd’hui, la vision qu’ont les gens des supermarchés a changé. Nous n’y allons plus seulement pour y faire les courses, mais également pour échanger, à la recherche de moments de convivialité.
En raison de cette situation, certains magasins ont opté pour des blabla caisses.
En quoi cela consiste-t-il ? Des caisses plus lentes, où les hôtes de caisse prennent le temps de discuter avec leur clientèle. Certaines enseignes mettent tout en œuvre pour automatiser les caisses, ou encore améliorer au mieux leur performance afin d’augmenter leur chiffre d’affaire ; ici, l’objectif est tout inverse. La blabla caisse ralentit la cadence et permet à la clientèle ainsi qu’à l’hôte de caisse d’échanger ensemble. Ce nouveau principe, qui a vu le jour fin 2021, permet de fidéliser la clientèle en faisant passer un bon moment aux consommateurs. Cette nouveauté ambitionne d’être généralisée dans toutes les enseignes d’ici le mois de mars 2022.
Les consommateurs ont eu une position favorable vis-à-vis de cette idée, ils sont majoritairement satisfaits de cette nouvelle pratique bienveillante. Le supermarché devient un lieu de vie et participe à sortir de l’isolement les personnes qui le vivent mal.
Ces blabla caisses sont généralement signalées par un panneau. Etant donné l’expérimentation, le consommateur peut trouver une seule blabla caisse dans les enseignes qui le proposent. Carrefour est prescripteur de ce projet en France, mais cette idée arrive des Pays-Bas. Auchan et Super U participent également à ce projet. A savoir que la participation des hôtes de caisse se fait sur la base du volontariat.
Si le projet évolue correctement, il pourrait donc voir le jour dans toutes les enseignes de la grande distribution, et ainsi contribuer au bien-être de chacun.
