Ahhhh les études ! Les soirées, les copains, l’indépendance, les partiels, mais aussi… les problèmes d’argent. Et oui ! Entrer dans la vie étudiante est une étape plus qu’excitante, mais elle signifie aussi plus de responsabilités et parmi elles : la gestion du budget. Tu peux vite te sentir dépassé par tout ça. Tu ne sais pas par où commencer ? Tu as du mal à t’organiser ?
Ne t’inquiète pas, nous t’avons réuni des astuces qui te serviront au quotidien pendant toutes tes études ( Testées et approuvées par nous = de vrais étudiants 😉 )
Règle n°1 : Faire ses comptes régulièrement 💸
Premièrement, une astuce basique mais indispensable : s’organiser. Qui n’a jamais eu une frayeur en ouvrant son appli bancaire ? (certainement pas moi…) Pour éviter toute surprise, il est important de se fixer un budget hebdomadaire et/ou mensuel alloué à chaque dépense : loyer, nourriture, loisir, etc et de s’y tenir un maximum. Également, n’hésite pas à faire tes comptes régulièrement, à raison d’une fois par semaine ou toutes les deux semaines pour vérifier que tu tiens ton budget, mais également qu’il n’y ait pas d’erreurs de prélèvements ou autres qui peuvent arriver et créer un trou dans ton budget.
Règle n°2 : Apprendre à cuisiner 🍳
L’un des gros postes de dépenses quand on est étudiant est l’alimentation. Manger 3 repas équilibrés est indispensable pour étudier en bonnes conditions, mais cela n’est pas toujours évident quand on a un budget limité. As-tu déjà entendu parler du Batch Cooking? Non ? Ca tombe bien! Le Batch cooking ou cuisson par lots en français- mais ça fait toujours plus stylé dans la langue de Shakespeare – consiste à préparer en avance et en une seule fois les plats de la semaine qui arrive. En faisant cela, tu peux optimiser ta liste de courses, ton temps et surtout ton argent. Ainsi, les soirs de la semaine, tu n’auras plus qu’à réchauffer tes plats déjà préparés sans avoir besoin de refaire les courses, ni être tenté de commander en ligne. Pour réduire tes dépenses en nourriture, il existe également des applications anti-gaspi comme la populaire Too Good To Go. - Tente le vrac pour les produits basiques comme le riz et les pâtes, ces produits sans emballage peuvent être jusqu’à 15% moins cher.
Règle n°3 : Économiser sur le logement 🏠
Le logement est lui aussi est un des postes de dépense les plus importants pour un étudiant. Pourtant, il existe quelques astuces pour réduire son budget loyer.
Savais-tu que le Crous proposait des logements ? Avec des résidences dans les principales villes étudiantes de France, le Centre Régional des Œuvres Universitaires et Scolaires propose des logements à partir de 150€ pour une chambre et jusqu’à 800€ pour un studio meublé. Les résidences sont en plus équipées de wifi, garage à vélos, laverie et certaines même de salles de musculation, salles culturelles ou salles informatiques. Ces logements sont attribués sur critères sociaux, les mêmes que ceux de l’attribution d’une bourse, et les demandes de logement ouvrent généralement en mai. N’hésite pas à te renseigner sur le site officielle du Crous pour plus d’informations.
Une autre option pour économiser sur le loyer reste la colocation. Adoptée par de nombreux étudiants, ses avantages sont nombreux : accès à un espace plus grand, réduction du budget loyer, rencontre de nouvelles personnes, et parfois même de nouvelles cultures, enfin bref que du positif ! D’ailleurs, il existe plusieurs plateformes pour trouver la coloc parfaite, permis les plus populaires on retrouve La carte des colocs ou Appartager.
Bonus : pour réduire ta facture énergie certains gestes simples peuvent s’appliquer : débrancher les appareils que tu n’utilises pas, éteindre la lumière quand tu quittes la pièce, décaler les heures d’utilisation de certains appareils ou baisser d’un degré le chauffage sont autant de petits gestes qui te feront gagner des euros.
Règle n°4 : Profiter de son statut étudiant 👨🎓
Les écoles et universités bénéficient de plusieurs associations, les plus courantes étant le BDS (bureau des sports) et le BDE ( bureau des étudiants). Celles-ci possèdent des partenariats avec des banques, des restaurants et autres afin de proposer des tarifs intéressants à ses étudiants. N’hésite pas à consulter régulièrement leurs activités et les suivre sur leurs réseaux sociaux, tu y trouveras forcément des bon plans.
En-dehors de cela, avec ton statut d’étudiant, prouvé par ta carte étudiante ou ton certificat de scolarité, tu as le droit à de nombreux avantages étudiants.
Le programme Unidays et ses nombreuses marques partenaires te permet d’obtenir des codes promos ou réductions spéciales étudiant. Par exemple La Fnac offre -5% à tous les étudiants.
Plus généralement sache que tu peux bénéficier de réductions dans la plupart des :
- Cinémas
- Musées
- Chaines de restauration rapide
- Transports
Règle n°6 : Acheter d’occasion 👚
Pour certaines dépenses, notamment les dépenses de vêtements ou d’électronique acheter d’occasion est la solution. En effet des applications ou sites comme Vinted, Le bon coin ou Backmarket proposent d’avoir accès à des objets en état parfois neuf et à des prix plus qu’abordables. backmarket.com propose par exemple des iPhone 12 reconditionnés au prix de 499€ contre 809€ pour un neuf. Privilégier la seconde main est aussi une bonne façon de réduire la surconsommation et donc de prendre soin de la planète comme de ton porte-monnaie!
