De plus en plus répandues grâce aux vertus relaxantes qu’elles profèrent, les préparations à base de CBD se multiplient depuis quelques mois avec un boum d’ouverture de boutiques en France 2018. Même les grands pâtissiers se les accaparent.
- Qu’est-ce que le CBD ?
Le CBD, aussi appelé cannabidiol, est une molécule extraite du cannabis mais non-psychotrope et totalement légale.
Contrairement à d’autres molécules présentes dans le cannabis, comme le THC, le CBD lui, n’entraîne pas d’accoutumance et aurait même des vertus protégeant de celles-ci. C’est pourquoi beaucoup l’utilisent pour essayer d’arrêter la cigarette ou tout autre produit auquel ils sont accros.
« Des études suggèrent qu’il pourrait bloquer les effets addictifs de certaines drogues d’abus » explique Stéphanie Caillé-Garnier, neurobiologiste au CNRS.
Le CBD n’est donc en aucun cas considéré comme du cannabis et c’est pourquoi il se retrouve dans de plus en plus de produits, le tout en vente libre. En effet, en France c’est la molécule THC qui est interdite, le CBD bénéficie lui d’un flou juridique. Le droit européen indique que les produits finis à base de CBD ne doivent pas excéder 0.2% de THC au maximum. Donc si la culture et la vente de la plante de cannabis en tant que telle est bien interdite en France, aucune loi n’interdit la consommation du CBD.
- Quels sont véritablement les effets du CBD ?
Depuis les années 60, la molécule de CBD est étudiée. Ces recherches ont permis de découvrir que le CBD permettrait de réduire:
- L’anxiété
- Les troubles du sommeil
- Les effets indésirables des chimiothérapies comme les nausées ou les vomissements
- Les crises d’angoisse
- Les inflammations
- Les crises d’épilepsie
- Certaines maladies cardiovasculaires
- Le psoriasis
- Le diabète
- Les crises de schizophrénie
- Les douleurs liées à l’arthrose ou dues aux contractures
- Et comme cité auparavant: les addictions telles que l’alcool ou la cigarette
En d’autres termes, le CBD présente bien des avantages pour atténuer les maux de la vie de manière naturelle et c’est pourquoi il est de plus en plus répandu en France et dans le monde. Toutefois, attention, le CBD n’est pas considéré comme un médicament bien qu’il entre dans la composition de certains en tant que principe actif. De ce fait, il ne peut être ni prescrit ni remboursé par la sécurité sociale ou une mutuelle.
